Areas of Competence:

I earned my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee in 2020. I am a mental health counselor in private practice providing individual counseling for adults and adolescents. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, and neurodiversity (Autism and ADHD). Additional areas of expertise include: Career counseling, grief, self-esteem, relationship issues, and LGBTQIA+ community. I have completed training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing). I hold a counseling license in the state of Tennessee (LPC-MHSP #6601) that went into effect June 06, 2024. 

Course of Treatment:

I specialize in finding creative ways to help clients heal using traditional talk therapy while integrating parts works, expressive arts, skills for Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and EMDR. I have found the best treatment approach is to build a trusting therapeutic relationship with my clients, allowing them to feel emotionally safe and explore their truth and their needs. The client's need is the upmost important element when determining the course of treatment. Currently, all therapy sessions are provided via teletherapy through a user-friendly HIPAA-compliant online platform. Outside of sessions, I am available to my clients via phone, text, or email.

Fee Schedule & Method of Billing:

50 minute sessions are $123.00. I accept payment through my Electronic Health Records System, Simple Practice.

Payment Terms & Insurance Accepted:

I accept private pay and accept Cigna and Aetna insurances. I am able to offer a superbill receipt for clients' with out of network benefits, however, it is the client's responsibility to inquire out of network benefits with their insurance company. A clinical service invoice with applicable diagnostic and procedural codes will be provided to clients monthly if requested in order to maximize the potential to obtain reimbursement for mental health services.

Accountability:

The practice of counseling is regulated by the Board of Counseling Professionals Licensure. The Board is authorized by law to discipline counselors who violate the Board's law or rules.
